Frequently asked questions

How do I use a flavour?

The simplest way is dipping: run your hookbait through the flavour just before the cast. You can also soak boilies overnight, or mix a splash of flavour into your feed. Always start with a small amount.

Which flavour works best in cold water?

In cold water, fresh, fruity and sweet flavours often work best, because they spread well even at low temperatures. Rich, creamy and fishy flavours come into their own in warmer water.

Can I use too much flavour?

Yes. Too high a dose makes your bait repellent rather than attractive. Keep the dose low and build up if needed. A subtle scent cloud catches more than a chemical flavour bomb.

How do I store flavours?

Cool, dark and well sealed. That keeps the flavour and scent at full strength for a long time. An opened bottle easily lasts several seasons when stored well.

Alles over flavors

What are flavours?

Flavours are concentrated flavour and scent compounds for your bait. With a few drops you give your boilies, pellets or hookbait an extra boost, or turn a neutral bait into a striking flavour bomb.

How to use flavours

  • Dipping – run your hookbait through the flavour just before the cast
  • Soaking – let boilies soak overnight for a deep flavour
  • Boost your feed – mix a splash into your spod or stick mix
  • Rolling your own – the basis for anyone making their own boilies

Dosing: less is more

The biggest mistake is too much flavour. An overdose makes bait repellent rather than attractive. Start with a low dose and build up. A dipped hookbait releases its flavour in the first hours – exactly when you need it.

Our flavours match the flavours of our boilie range, from fruity to creamy. That way you strengthen your baited area without anything being out of place.
