What is the difference between a flavour and a liquid?

A flavour is a concentrated flavouring that you dose drop by drop. A liquid is a liquid attractant that you use more generously: over your feed, through your mix or in a PVA bag. They complement each other well.

Do liquids work in cold water?

Yes, especially then. Most liquids spread well even at low temperatures, where oil solidifies and stays put. Little feed with a good dose of liquid is a proven winter tactic.

Are liquids PVA-friendly?

Only liquids without water do not dissolve PVA. So in PVA bags always use a liquid that is marked PVA-friendly, otherwise your bag melts before the cast.

How much liquid should I use?

A good splash over a kilo of feed is a good starting point. Let it soak in before you feed. More is always possible, but start gently and see how the fish respond.

What are liquids?

Liquids are liquid attractants that you pour over or mix into your feed. They draw a scent and flavour trail through the water and turn your baited area into a cloud of attraction, without filling the fish up.

How to use liquids

  • Pour a splash over your boilies or pellets before feeding
  • Mix them into your spod or stick mix
  • Use PVA-friendly liquids in your PVA bag
  • Combine with a flavour for extra power
