What are pop-ups?
Pop-ups are floating boilies. Thanks to their buoyancy your hookbait hangs just above the bottom, exactly where the carp can find it easily. On a bottom with leaves, silt or duckweed your bait always stays visible and easy to pick up.
When do you choose a pop-up?
- On a soft or dirty bottom where sinking bait sinks in
- On rigs such as the chod rig, ronnie rig or hinged stiff rig
- As an eye-catcher on or next to your feed
- In cold water, with one bright bait and little feed
Combining pop-ups with your feed
You can match your pop-up with the flavour of your feed boilies, so hookbait and feed form one whole. Or you choose the opposite: a bright colour such as white, yellow or pink that screams for attention among the dark feed. Both work – vary and see what the water asks for.
Our pop-ups match the flavours of our freshly rolled boilies. So you offer a hookbait that matches what the carp already knows from your baited area.
