What are particles?
Particles are seeds, grains and nuts for the baited area, such as hemp, corn and tiger nuts. They are affordable, keep fish grubbing for a long time and have been a staple in carp fishing for generations.
Popular particles
- Hemp – tiny seeds that keep carp grubbing
- Corn – sweet, highly visible and available everywhere
- Tiger nuts – sweet and firm, a proven carp magnet
- Mixed grains – affordable volume for big baited areas
Important: prepare particles properly
Dry particles must always be soaked first and then cooked before you feed them. Unprepared particles swell up inside the fish and are harmful. Also check the rules of your water: tiger nuts and other nuts are not allowed everywhere.
Use particles as an affordable base for your baited area and combine them with boilies as nutritious main feed – that gives you activity and holding power on your swim.
