What is the difference between groundbait and pellets?

Groundbait is finely ground feed that instantly forms a cloud and mainly attracts. Pellets are compressed feed that breaks down more slowly and gives more to eat. Together they form a complete baited area.

Is groundbait suitable for carp too?

Yes. Groundbait is widely used for coarse fish, but it works excellently for carp too, especially around the method feeder and as a cloud over a baited area with boilies and pellets.

How do I mix groundbait?

Add small amounts of water in steps and mix well, until the mix just sticks together. Then let it stand for fifteen minutes and adjust at the end if needed. Feed mixed too wet cannot be corrected.

How much groundbait should I use?

Groundbait hardly fills fish up, so you can be generous: a few big balls or a loaded feeder per cast. The real food on your swim comes from the boilies, pellets or particles you mix in.

Match it to the season

In cold water choose a light, low-nutrition mix: lots of scent, little food. In summer it can be richer and heavier, so the baited area stays active for longer. Mix it with water step by step and let it stand for a while.
